The Keter Difference: CEO Alejandro Pena Speaks of Unique Collaboration With Ronald McDonald House

For more than 75 years, the team at Keter Group has specialized in creating, inventing, and relaying game-changing products to consumers worldwide. Based out of Israel, Keter Group specializes in sustainable resin-based home and garden solutions that look great, last a long time, and are gentle on the bank account.

Led by the work of CEO Alejandro Pena, Keter Group recently announced a celebrated partnership with the Ronald McDonald House in Ontario via the team’s Green Spaces initiative.

Let’s take a closer look at Alejandro Pena’s work with the Ronald McDonald House to see better how the team is operating in the future.

What is the Ronald McDonald House?

If you are a parent or someone with a sibling, you understand how hard it can be to worry about their well-being. Whether through financial or logistical problems, navigating health issues is difficult in the best of times. The Ronald McDonald House is a charity in Canada that seeks to help these individuals at their most vulnerable.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHCC) of Canada is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding and relaying temporary housing accommodations to families with seriously ill minors who need to travel to access medical care. With numerous obstacles, it is easy to see why the RMHCC program is so important.

There are 15 RMHCC facilities in Canada, with 33 outreach programs.

The RMHCC facilities place families with their loved ones close to the medical facilities where they receive treatment.

What Is Keter Green Spaces?

Keter has long been focused on giving back to communities near where they operate their businesses. Keter developed the Keter Green Spaces campaign to give children educational opportunities to grow plants and create a sustainable garden.

Led by the work of Alejandro Pena, Keter employees began working with RMHCC to donate time and products to the Serenity Garden, an outdoor space located next to the RMHCC South Central Ontario location. This garden is often used for play, family relaxation, and other outdoor events. While this garden is a valuable place for families to relax while enjoying RMHCC benefits, it is not the only part of Keter’s outreach.

In addition, Keter works with the workers at RMHCC to provide them with storage boxes, wastebasket, jute baskets, and other essential pieces of outdoor furniture. Pena points to the charitable outreach program with pride, saying that it gives employees a modest point of pride to know they are giving back to those in need.

As Keter continues to establish itself as the premier leader in green spaces, expect to watch more and more news from its philanthropic outreach and community initiatives.
